Om

I live in a very special place in the hills of the Byron Shire, NSW, Australia. I enjoy living with my family surrounded by nature and all the plants and animals. I love to share my practice, study, take long walks, get into the garden, go to the beach, sing mantras, write, cook, dance Cuban Salsa, and prepare fresh healthy food and juices.

I believe, and it is my experience, that we can heal ourselves. With proper nutrition, cleansing, meditation, movement, massage, and support longterm inner balance and health is enjoyed and sustained. This body is our temple, harmony and radiant vibrancy is our natural birthright.

Relax, ground, and settle, deeper into your refined innate sensitivity, open to the whispers of the subtle realms that inform and guide.

Rest in the simple presence of your own unique blossoming Being.

"The body says what words cannot"     Martha Graham

"Trauma is not the event itself but the body's physiological response to the event"   Peter Levine

"Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."    Viktor Frankl

"Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies. The past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort. Their bodies are constantly bombarded by visceral warning signs, and, in an attempt to control these processes, they often become expert at ignoring their gut feelings and in numbing awraeness of what is played out inside. They learn to hide from themselves."    Bessel A. Van Der Kolk

"The symptoms of trauma can be stable, that is ever present. They can also be unstable, meaning that they can come and go and be triggered by stress. Or they can remain hidden for decades and suddenly surface. Usually, symptoms do not occur individually, but come in groups. They often grow increasingly complex over time, becoming less and less connected with the original trauma experience. "   Peter Levine

"Neuroscience research shows that the only way we can change the way we feel is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend ourselves."     Bessel Van Der Kolk
